As I mentioned just the other day I began reading Master and Commander by Patrick O’Brian and got hooked and will be reading the rest of the series. (And I know Nicolle just loves hearing about this.)
Enter Easton Press. I know they had a fine edition of the Aubrey/Maturin series but it had slipped my mind since they haven’t been promoting it recently. But lo and behold in my most recent shipment of the current volume in their Library of Great Poetry, the insert was for, yup you guessed it, The Aubrey/Maturin books.
They must read my blog. I’m feeling a little paranoid now. But, like a good addict, I sent the response card in. So it looks like I’ll have the rest of the series coming in monthly for the next two years (I have books 2-4 coming from Amazon, which is fine since multiple copies don’t bother me).
This is how I end up with a house full of books.
