I Don’t Think I Can Do it Anymore Re: Age of Misrule

September 18th, 2009

The Age of Misrule by Mark Chadbourn.  I don’t think I can finish it.  I’m half way through the second volume and I’m losing interest as each paragraph passes.  I wasn’t to enthralled by the first book and I think Chadbourn dropped the ball with such interesting subject matter.  But being the easy going, give em a second chance kind of guy that I am I picked up Book 2.  Now half way through I’m floundering or more precisely the story is floundering.

I think the only way to save it is to put it down let it rest and come back to it later this year.  Maybe December.  So tonight I’m going to pick up The Affinity Bridge.

Maybe some steampunk might clear the palate.
